How To Get To Nokron Elden Ring
If you’re an avid Elden Ring player, chances are you’ve heard of Nokron, and Eternal City, but if you haven’t, let us give you a bit of background.
It’s a key underground location, just one level above the Siofra River. You’ll be able to find your way into the location once you have learned how to beat Starscourge Radahn at Redmane Castle.
It’s in Nokron that you’ll find the Fingreslayer Blade, which is important in progressing Ranni the Witch’s quest.
This location is optional and slightly more straightforward than the overworld. However, you’ll still be able to use most of the overworld’s main mechanics, such as being able to ride Torrent, fast travel, and the restoration of flasks when defeating enemy groups still occurs.
So if you’re looking to get to Nokron, but have no idea where to start, don’t worry, as this article will tell you everything.
We’ll be going through some information about Nokron, how to get there and how to journey through the location while giving some excellent tips on locating treasure here and defeating the enemies you may encounter.
How To Get To Nokron
First, you’ll need to defeat Starscourge Radahn, as this will allow you access to Nokron.
But you can visit a small section of Nokron through the way gate at the ruins in the center of Siofra River, but of course, this won’t grant you full access to Nokron.
As soon as Radahn has been defeated, teleport to Fort Haight West in eastern Limgrave, which is just south of Mistwood.
Once you arrive, you’ll see a huge crater to the northwest, and above it are floating rocks in the sky.
Make your way to the northern side, and you’ll be able to see a slope that leads downwards. From here, you’ll have to make your way across the platforms by jumping to each one until you eventually pass through a tunnel to the north that will bring you into a ruined building.
Next, drop down to the ground level and keep going until you emerge into Nokron.
Nokron Walkthrough
As you enter Nokron, you’ll find yourself in a large cavern filled with cathedral-like ruins.
Drop onto the roof below and make your way along the first column, and from here, you can jump up to a square platform. If you turn to the east, you’ll be able to see a corpse on the roof across the abyss.
You’ll want to position yourself on the northwest corner of the platform and carry out a running jump to land on the column.
Next, run up this column and jump across, and you’ll be able to loot the corpse to acquire the Ghostflame Torch.
From here, drop off the northwestern side to perform a drop attack on a Silver Tear. Upon dropping down, if you turn around, you’ll be faced with 2 more Silver Tears on the left-hand side and 4 more along the roofs to the right.
Make your way to the ramp that goes up the collapsed building and carefully navigate the narrow edge of the next building to enter an open arch to the left.
Fall down to the platforms below and defeat the 2 Fallen Hawks Soldiers that are patrolling, as well as the 3 archers that will be at the back of the room. Once you’ve done that, head down the stairs to find a Site of Grace.
Make your way past the Site of Grace, and you’ll find yourself in an almost town center location, where there are tons of buildings and locations to explore and find new things.
But as you’re exploring, be careful of the Fallen Hawks Soldiers as there’s a lot that patrol this area, so keep your wits about you as you go around the corners and ensure that you don’t attract a swarm of them in the middle of the center.
You’ll find a lot of Melted Mushrooms, Silver Tear Husk and Dew Kissed Herba, along with Silver Firefly groups to the southwest on the ridge.
If you look to the northwest, some stairs will lead down. Head down there, and as you turn right, you’ll encounter a Silver Tear and a Swordstress.
Once they’ve been defeated, continue making your way down towards the big pantheon, and as soon as you enter, you’ll be faced with a boss fight.
Boss Fight – Mimic Tear
The Mimic Tear sounds exactly like its name. It acts as a clone of yourself. When you first see it, it’ll appear as a big blob, but as you approach it, it will take the form of you, your abilities, and the items you have equipped.
Since each character will be different, the strategy to defeat this boss will widely differ, depending on your build.
For example, if your build is more spell-focused, make sure to time your casts so the boss can’t catch you out with their casts. If you’re more melee-focused, keep an eye out for heavy attacks and parries.
To give yourself an upper hand against the evenly matched boss, summon Spirit Ashes as soon as you enter the fight. This will provide distractions against the mimic.
Once you’ve defeated the boss, you’ll receive a Larval Tear and the Silver Tear Mask.
