Who Is Rennala?

Rennala, is the Queen of the Full Moon and a powerful sorceress. The current head of the Carian Royal family, she can be found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Players must defeat the Queen to move the story of the game forward. 

It is suggested that players should be at least level 40 before they attempt to beat Queen Rennala.

Once you have achieved this, you will be repaid in 40,000 runes as well as a few items such as the Great Rune of the Unborn and Remembrance of the Full moon Queen.

We wouldn’t recommend exploring the area right after defeating the Queen, as it can be very challenging. If you do decide to explore this area, you can find many weapon upgrade materials, and enemies drop a few Runes. 

Caelid can be reached via the path that runs along the north of Limgrave or teleporting beneath Lingrave’s Dragonburnt Ruins to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel.  

If you take the path, prepare to be confronted with savage dogs and birds. If you teleport, then you will find yourself in the middle of the Aeonian Swamp.

For those who haven’t already killed Godrick, Radahn may be your second Great Rune target. 

Explore Ainsel And Siofra River

These two underground locations can be accessed through their respective River Wells, which can be found in different locations. Ainsel River will provide you with crafting materials and unique armors, and armaments. 

It will take a long time to get through these areas, and you will be faced with many challenging bosses and other enemies.

However, there are also several beautiful sights to see in the game, and it is often thought of as the most spectacular location. 

Visiting these two locations is the final act that players should perform before visiting the legacy dungeon with the third demigod. 

Altus Plateau

It is recommended that players explore Altus Plateau before heading to the capital, as it will allow you to level up and upgrade weapons.

To get from Raya Lucaria, you must take one of two paths; through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice or by gathering both halves of the Dectus Medallion. Fighting your way through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice will be easier. 

Ruin-Strewn Precipice

This route is easier. Head due north of Raya Lucaria whilst remaining in the water. It’s important to avoid riding on dry land.

When you eventually come to a narrow canyon that leads you to the Precipice entrance, climb your way through the ruins to confront one of the bosses at the end. Once you’ve battled the boss, you can enter Altus. 

Dectus Medallion

Collecting the two halves of the Dectus Medallion will grant you access to the Grand Lift of Dectus. The left half of the medallion is found in Fort Haight, and the right half is in Fort Faroth. Each is a dungeon with its own challenges.

Fort Faroth is in Caelid, the incredibly tough game area, demonstrating how much more difficult this route is. 

Leyndell, Royal Capital

Leyndell, the Royal Capital, is where the game’s main plot line continues and where players should head if they want to follow the main story of Elden Ring.

Firstly, players should visit Roundtable Hold and speak to Gideon Ofnir, who will confirm the next task should be to go to the capital.

Although there won’t be any guidance on how to get to Leyndell, it’s not particularly difficult to find. When looking at the map, Leyndell is on the far side of the Altus Plateau, which is a golden grassland that is northeast of Raya Lucaria.

To find Leyndell, you’ll need to head east from Altus Plateau. 

Challenges

There is only one way into Leyndell, and that is through the East Capital Rampart. Before entering the capital, you must confront a couple of challenging bosses in the overworld.
