How To Get More Memory Slots Elden Ring
In the guide below, we’ll tell you how to get all of the Memory Stones available in Elden Ring, each divided into groups by their main areas.
This will help you get through them more quickly because you’ll be able to keep to the same main area of the map and find all the Stones there before moving on to a new main area.
Limgrave Memory Stones
In the main area of Limgrave, there is only one Memory Stone for you to collect, though it takes some time and challenge.
Limgrave is the first accessible area of the game, so you’ll already be familiar with it, though you may not have the ability to get this stone until later.
Oridys’s Rise
Oridys’s Rise is an observation tower on top of a plateau. You’ll be able to find it in the Weeping Peninsula region, southeast of Limgrave. When you approach the entrance, a seal will tell you that you have to complete a challenge to come in.
The challenge involves finding and killing three ghost turtles. The first is in the bushes left of the stairs, the second is near the entrance, and the third is in the pond. You’ll need to attack where the water splashes are to reveal the turtle.
You can find the Stone at the top of the tower when all three are killed.
Atlus Plateau Memory Stones
There is also only one Memory Stone in the Atlus Plateau region.
Hermit Village
To find it, go to the Hermit Village in the volcanic area of Mt. Gelmir. You’ll have to defeat Demi-Human Queen Maggie to obtain the Stone.
Liurnia Of The Lakes Memory Stones
In the Liurnia Of The Lakes region, there are four different Memory Stones to obtain.
Raya Lucaria Academy
The first Stone is found in this Legacy Dungeon, which is in the north of Liurnia. You’ll need to defeat the Red Wolf of Radagon boss to obtain it. As you might guess, this Great Enemy Boss takes the form of a large red wolf.
Testu’s Rise
This place is also north of Liurnia, though its requirements are just like those of Oridys’s Rise in Limgrave. That’s right. You’re defeating three more ghost turtles!
The first one hides on top of a tree, while the second ghost turtle can be found just northeast of the Testu’s Rise tower. The third, meanwhile, is down a cliff southeast of the tower. Kill them and enter the tower to find the Memory Stone.
Converted Tower
In the west of Liurnia, you’ll find this tower you need to enter and climb to find the Stone. There are a few ways to do this. The easiest way is simply climbing on the broken walls nearby and jumping from them to the tower’s roof.
Seulvis’s Rise
This is in the Three Sisters sub-region of Liurnia, and it’s a tower. The entrance is blocked until you go and speak to Ranni at Ranni’s Rise. Once let in, go to the top floor and loot a chest for the Stone.
Caelid Memory Stones
In the Caelid main area, there is thankfully only one Memory Stone to be found.
Lenne’s Rise
Make your way to Lenne’s Rise, a location with an observation tower in the Dragonbarrow sub-region. Go to the south side of the location, and you’ll find a Spirit Spring to help you get up onto the balcony of the observation tower.
You must be careful when navigating this location, though, since plenty of poison surrounds it!
Once you’re up on the balcony, enter inside, and you’ll find a chest. Loot it to find the Memory Stone.
Roundtable Hold Memory Stones
There is only one Memory Stone in the Roundtable Hold, the main area, and it’s one that merely costs you Runes. You don’t have to fight, climb, or complete challenges for it!
Twin Maiden’s Chamber
In this location, you’ll find the Twin Maiden Husks merchants. You can buy the Memory Stone from them for 3000 Runes.
Why Do You Need Memory Stones In Elden Ring?
Players will want to obtain Memory Stones in Elden Ring because they unlock Memory Slots, which allow them to perform incantations and sorceries.
